How do I get started?
Create your account, tell us about your brand and your first offer, and our AI drafts a complete campaign from that one-line brief. Fine-tune it in the drag-and-drop editor and send — most people finish their first campaign in under an hour.
Do I need any design or coding skills?
None at all. The drag-and-drop editor and AI writing help do the heavy lifting, and your landing pages are built the same way, no code in sight.
Can I bring my own email list?
Yes — the importer maps your spreadsheet columns to fields automatically, and an interrupted upload resumes right where it stopped. Every address is checked with its mail server before it ever reaches a campaign.
How long before I can send my first campaign?
Most small businesses are ready the same day: connect your domain, import your list, and let the AI draft your first email from a one-line brief. Review it, press send.
I don't have a logo or brand colours sorted yet — can I still start?
Yes. Add what you have now and update your brand settings whenever you like — every future campaign and landing page picks up the change automatically.
Can I try it before I commit to a plan?
Create your account and build a real campaign with your own brand and offer. Every feature is on every plan, so there's nothing held back to discover later.
Do I need a website to collect sign-ups?
No. Put a sign-up form on your website with one embed if you have one, or use a landing page instead — both are built from your brand automatically.
SENDING & DELIVERABILITY
Will it actually land?
Do I have to set up my own sending domain?
No — we register a sending domain that matches your brand, set up its authentication (SPF, DKIM and DMARC) and host it for you. You never touch a DNS record.
Will my campaigns actually land in the inbox?
99.7% of mail sent across our network gets delivered. New domains earn their sending volume gradually as inbox providers accept their mail, and your pace adjusts automatically for Gmail, Microsoft, Yahoo and the rest.
What does "every address checked" actually mean?
Before a campaign goes out, every address on your list is verified directly with its mail server, not just spell-checked. Dead mailboxes, dead domains and addresses that have complained anywhere on the platform are kept out of your send.
How quickly can I send to my whole list?
As fast as your domain's reputation allows. A brand new domain starts small and builds up as providers respond well, so your first few sends ramp up rather than blast out all at once.
What's the difference between a human open and an automated one?
Automated opens come from security scanners and preview tools, not real people. We count those separately, in their own column, so your reports show opens you can actually trust.
Can I just send from my regular Gmail address?
You could, but you'd miss the point. Your own sending domain keeps your From address, signature, links and landing page all matching, and that's one of the biggest factors in reaching the inbox.
What happens if an address bounces or complains?
It's removed automatically and never sent to again. Bounces, complaints and failed verifications all feed back into keeping the rest of your list clean.

How does pricing work?
Four plans, priced in Canadian dollars, billed monthly, no contracts. Every feature is included on every plan — the only difference between them is how many credits you get.
What's a credit?
One credit sends one email. Address checks and AI writing draw from that same pool, so there's just one number to keep an eye on.
What happens if I run out of credits partway through the month?
Top up or move to a bigger plan whenever you need to. Nothing stops you switching plans up or down as your list grows.
Am I locked into a contract?
No. Every plan is month to month, and you can cancel any time without a penalty.
What if I'd rather not do it myself?
Our managed plans have us plan, write, design and send your campaigns for you, month to month, so your inbox fills up with results instead of to-dos.
Do prices change depending on where in Canada I'm sending from?
No. Every plan is priced in Canadian dollars no matter which province or territory you're sending from.
YOUR DATA & THE LAW
Consent, done the right way
Do I need permission before I email someone?
Yes. Under CASL, Canada's anti-spam law enforced by the CRTC, you need express or implied consent before you send, plus clear sender identification in every message. Our guide walks through what that looks like day to day.
What's the difference between express and implied consent?
Express consent is someone actively opting in, like filling out your sign-up form. Implied consent comes from an existing relationship, like a recent purchase or enquiry, and it doesn't last forever — see our guide for how long.
How fast does an unsubscribe need to be honoured?
CASL requires it within 10 business days. Every unsubscribe through Mailer Moose is processed automatically, right away, no waiting required.
Is my list and my customers' data kept private?
Your list belongs to you alone. It's never shared, sold or used to send anyone else's campaigns.
Can I import a list I bought or was given?
You can import it, but you still need consent to email those people under CASL. Our importer and verification step show you who's safe to send to — not whether you had permission to collect them.
Does Mailer Moose keep me compliant automatically?
We build in the tools: consent-based sign-up forms, instant unsubscribes, sender identification on every send. Following CASL for your own list is still on you, and our guide covers exactly what that involves.
