EMAIL VERIFICATION
Every address, checked before you hit send.
Old lists hide dead mailboxes and dead domains that look perfectly fine until you send to them. We check every address with its own mail server before your campaign goes out, so you see a real, reachable number before you launch, not a bounce report after.
Checked at the mailbox, not just spelling
A plain-language reason for every removal
Your reachable count, before you launch

THE PROBLEM
Old lists bite back.
A list built up over a few years always looks healthier than it is. People change jobs, close accounts, let a domain lapse, or never clean out a junk inbox they signed up with on a whim. Every one of those addresses still sits in your spreadsheet, looking exactly like a good one.
Send to it anyway and it bounces hard, the kind of bounce inbox providers remember. A handful of hard bounces on one campaign is a bad afternoon. A pattern of them is what gets your next campaign filtered before anyone reads it, no matter how good the subject line is.
You don't need to guess which names on your list are still safe to use. We check the mailbox itself before your campaign ever reaches it, so the only addresses you send to are the ones that can actually receive mail.

HOW IT WORKS
From import to inbox-ready.
Verification isn't a separate chore you have to remember. It runs quietly in the background from the moment your list lands.
You import your list
Upload a spreadsheet or add a sign-up form. Verification starts right away, while the import is still running.
Each address meets its mail server
We check every address at the mailbox, confirming it with the server that actually receives mail for that domain.
Every removal gets a reason
Dead mailboxes, dead domains and anywhere-on-the-platform complaints are removed, each one marked with a plain-language reason you can read.
You see the real number
Before you launch, your reachable count is the true one. Nothing bounces that verification could already see coming.
IN DETAIL
How we keep your list honest.
Three things happen every time a list comes through the door.
AT THE MAILBOX
Checked with the mail server, not just spelling.
A spelling check only catches typos. It waves through addresses that are spelled perfectly and dead as a doornail: a mailbox that's been closed, a domain nobody renewed, an inbox that stopped existing two years ago.
We go further and ask the receiving mail server directly whether that mailbox is still there. That's the difference between an address that looks fine and one that actually works.
Confirmed at the mailbox, live
Catches dead domains, not just typos
Runs automatically on every import

NO GUESSWORK
A plain-language reason for every removal.
Nobody likes watching their subscriber count drop with no explanation. When an address comes out of your sending list, you get the reason in plain words, not a code.
The address itself never disappears. It stays on your list marked as removed, so your history stays intact and your numbers always add up, import to send.
No vague "bounced" labels
Removed addresses stay on your record
Your subscriber count always explains itself
BEFORE YOU LAUNCH
See your reachable count, before you send.
Importing a list used to mean sending blind: you'd find out who was reachable only after the bounce report came back. Verification starts the moment your list begins importing, so it's finished, or close to it, by the time you're ready to build your campaign.
The number you see before you hit send is the real one. No padding from addresses that were never going to arrive, no surprises after launch.
Verification starts during import
The count you see is the real one
No post-send bounce surprises
WHAT IT MEANS FOR YOU
Send with confidence, every time.
Verification isn't just tidy bookkeeping. It changes what happens when you hit send.
Your reputation stays protected
Hard bounces are what inbox providers punish hardest. Removing dead addresses before you send keeps your sending domain's reputation clean, campaign after campaign.
No more mystery drops
Every address that leaves your list comes with a plain-language reason, so a smaller number never means a confusing one.
A number you can actually trust
The reachable count you see before launch accounts for every check already run, so it's the number that matters, not an estimate.
Your list keeps its history
Removed addresses aren't deleted. They stay on your list marked as removed, so your records always add up.
One pool, no extra math
Checking addresses draws from the same credit pool as sending and AI writing, so there's one number to keep an eye on, not three.

COMPARED
What a typical platform skips.
Most platforms check spelling. We check the mailbox.
A typical email platform
- Checks that an address is spelled correctly
- Tells you a send bounced, after the fact
- Drops addresses with no explanation
- Removed addresses vanish from your list
- Verification is a separate step you remember to run
Mailer Moose
- Checked at the mailbox. Confirmed live with the receiving mail server itself.
- Bounces prevented. Dead addresses never enter the campaign in the first place.
- A reason every time. Each removal is marked in plain language.
- Nothing disappears. Removed addresses stay on record, marked removed.
- Starts on import. Checking begins while your list is still uploading.
QUESTIONS
Everything about checking your list.
Why did my list get smaller after I imported it?
Some addresses on your list no longer have a working mailbox; a domain lapsed or an inbox closed. Each one is marked with the reason it was removed, and it stays on your list as a record, so you can see exactly what happened and why your number changed.
Does verification check more than spelling?
Yes. We check every address against its receiving mail server, confirming the mailbox itself still exists and accepts mail. A spelling check alone can't tell you that, which is why it misses so many dead addresses.
What happens to an address once it's removed?
It stays on your list, marked as removed with its reason, instead of disappearing. That way your subscriber history and your numbers always add up, and you can look back and see exactly what happened to any name on your list.
Does checking my list slow down my send?
No. Verification starts while your list is still importing, so by the time you're ready to build your campaign, the reachable count you see is already the real one.
Do address checks use extra credits on top of sending?
Checks draw from the same credit pool as sending and AI writing, so there's one number to watch rather than a separate budget for verification.
Will this stop every bounce?
It removes the addresses we can already see are dead: closed mailboxes, dead domains and anywhere-on-the-platform complaints, before your campaign goes out. That's bounces prevented at the source, not just counted afterward.
Is email verification included on every plan?
Yes. Every feature, including address checking, is on every plan. There's no separate tier you need to move up to for it.
What about addresses that complained on a previous campaign?
Any address that has complained anywhere on the platform is kept out of future campaigns automatically. It never gets the chance to complain about yours.
WORKS WITH
Your list, your campaign, all connected.
Verification is one part of a list that's ready to send. Here's what it works alongside.

Lists and imports
Bring your list from any spreadsheet and the importer maps every column to a field automatically, reusing fields you already have. An interrupted upload picks up right where it stopped, and verification starts the moment it begins.
Sending domains, handled
Your campaigns go out from a domain that matches your brand, registered, authenticated and hosted for you. Zero DNS records for you to set up.

Before launch, a specialist read checks your subject line, links, structure and sender details, each finding with a plain-English fix.

New sending domains earn more volume gradually, and each inbox provider gets its own pace, adjusted from how it's responding right now.
