ABOUT YOUR BILL
Questions about billing, credits and getting out if you need to.
Can I cancel anytime?
Yes. There's no contract on any self-serve plan — cancel from your account whenever you like and you won't be charged again. Your campaigns and reports stay visible until you decide to close the account.
Do unused credits roll over?
Your credit amount refreshes each month on your billing date and doesn't carry over. If you're regularly sending less than your plan gives you, moving down a tier takes one click.
What happens if I run out of credits partway through the month?
You can top up or move up a plan right away so your campaign isn't delayed. We'll always tell you before you run out, not after.
Is there a setup fee?
No. Your account, your sending domain and your first campaign are all included in your monthly plan — there's nothing extra to pay to get started.
Can I change plans later?
Any month, in either direction. Move up when your list grows, move down when things are quieter — your contacts, campaigns and reports all stay put.
What exactly counts as a credit?
Sending one email to one person uses one credit. Checking an address before you send and asking for AI writing help draw from the same pool, so there's just one number to watch.
Do I need to already own a domain?
No. We register and set up a sending domain that matches your brand, with its authentication handled for you — there's no DNS to configure yourself.
What happens to the list I already have?
Bring your spreadsheet and we'll map it in and check every address before anything gets sent. Only people who gave you consent to email them should be on the list, and we handle the mailbox checks on top.
Is sending email in Canada regulated?
Yes — CASL, enforced by the CRTC, requires consent to email someone, clear sender identification and an unsubscribe honoured within 10 business days. Mailer Moose handles the unsubscribe and sender details; getting consent is on you.
